Rise and Go
by Neil Moran
Time was never on our side the best thing we could do was learn to fall behind
but that’s alright because I have known from the start that time would only tare us apart
as we learn to hide all that we have done and how our hearts have grown and how it slips aside
from the things that bring you down
but all that I can do is stay true to you with that being said
what else could I do
But you can wait for it what you think should come but before we fall we shall rise and go we shall rise and go
Don’t stay that you’ve ever wanted more that you ever felt assured of all the things we’ve done
but just when that thought was made you asked be was I fine
because I can’t stay this time
it’s for better or for whatever we learn to believe
Who is a liar now?
because that’s just what we’ve become
But you can wait for it what you think should come but before we fall we shall rise and go we shall rise and go

I Remember
By Neil Moran
I remember walking your hand in my hand and you said that you can feel it too
I remember talking about where you are going but I’d be a liar if I said I didn’t want to go with you
but I was caught up in my own wars and you see you helped me out of that one
but somethings can take its toll on you
is it better to have gone astray or lose what can’t be taken away
but some people just get mixed up they say
If you are a sinner, then I’m one too
people only ask the questions when the story doesn’t follow through
this one is for me and this one is for you
I know where it started but I didn’t know what to do
you stop to think and time catches up on you
I remember forever and the things that words can do
when you feel your missing some kind of part of you
I’ve gotten tired of asking questions the ones you don’t want to be true
is someone else doing what I couldn’t do for you
If you are a sinner, then I’m one too
people only ask the questions when the story doesn’t follow through
this one is for me and this one is for you
this one is for me and this one is for you
Life moves on and here’s to you.

Old Before My Time
By Neil Moran
My paranoid mind my worried soul won’t let a man leave his thoughts alone it’s only been a little while and I’ve grown
old before my time
With a lost glance with an empty stare won’t help a thought that isn’t there it’s only been a little while and I’ve grown
old before my time
I’ve got the questions I can only chase I’ve got the heart that can only race it’s only been a little while and I’ve grown
old before my time
I’ve been afraid of being afraid and I’ve walked the road that’s been laid it’s only been a little while and I’ve grown
old before my time
I don’t know why I don’t know why what I want so much causes me to lie it’s only been a few weeks and I’ve grown
old before my time
I want to break the chains that have held me back I want to make a change and face the facts it’s only been a few months and I’ve grown old before my time
I don’t want assurances I don’t want a right way I don’t want to feel something to drag me the other way
It’s only been a few years and I’ve grown
old before my time
I’ve spent my whole life trying to find the right to believe in want is mine it’s only been a life time and I’ve grown
old before my time

I Don’t Know How Anymore
By Neil Moran
That look you gave then slowly turning away from the things that I wanted to say
I was left alone and I’ve been waiting for the right moment
the right moment to tell you just want I mean
All this gold got put on hold because it’s not worth having if you haven’t a home someone to share it with someone to care for it
but what I’m I don’t if I can’t get us there
I was lonely and I was lost I was trying to find a way back on course and you recognize this but we never fluctuated to more
to more than we could have been
I wanted to call you my friend because you understand how bad I’ve been I wanted to hold you but I don’t know how anymore
Maybe I loved you and maybe you loved me but after all what else could this be
maybe you’d tease or maybe you’d please but I’ve forgotten how we ever came to be
I was afraid of leaving and you were afraid of crying I was afraid of saying just what I mean
I think I miss you, yea I think I missed you but I could never show that in my ways
I think I needed you I think I was afraid to but I think I needed you more back then
I think of it often but not often enough
Maybe your lonely

In Time
By Neil Moran
If you ask it so and if it goes unguarded
if you love the soul then you can only show it
what would break us down would become easier to hold up
when promises aren’t made to be broken and words aren’t made to be unspoken
but time won’t wait for anyone
it’s the part you can’t describe because it’s too late for anyone and I don’t know how to feel
because I’ve never felt love before
but if we only fall down then I’ll wait for what is true
If you want to know what is lost in sorrow
time can fix what’s broke even when our love is hallow
it’s time we took control and I will lead the way home
it’s time we broke these ropes and feel alive not surely alone
but time won’t wait for anyone
it’s the part you can’t describe because it’s too late for anyone and I don’t know how to feel
because I’ve never felt love before
but if we only fall down then I’ll wait for what is true
Time won’t wait for you
